Hey Byron, thanks for the kind words...... I have another Diplomaticos No 2 sitting in my humidor and each day I look at it and say to myself, " One more Day".... Its rather difficult to hang on to such a great cigar without lighting it, knowing full well that every day it gets better.........

Just wanted to say I very much enjoyed your blog today. I was pleased to see your discussion of the Diplomat as an valid occasional alternative to the Monte Cristo. I'm an American, but as I presently live in El Pais Vasco, I get to enjoy Cuban cigars. Overall your posts are well written and informative, and your blog color scheme combined with the sylish cigar shots is beautiful and well done.

Happy new year to you Brian and to all of our friends here!
Well as soon as i taste the No 2 i would be glad to share my thoughts.
Regarding to the smoking laws in Greece you can say that we didn't had any laws! We are now in the process of applying a smoking law but in Greece it takes time!!
Anyway you are welcome to visit Greece again and thanx for your reply.

Thanks George. The No 5 is a lovely perla and doesn't take a lot of your time. The No 2 may be one of my all time cigars though and worth every minute it takes. I've been to Greece and have to say I really liked your smoking laws. I could smoke almost anywhere. Thanks for leaving a comment.

Howdy!

I'm new to cigars but I enjoy them quite a bit.

My favorite is the edmundo. It has a nice great flavor and rich aroma.

I'm also from Toronto. If you can recommend me a good cigar store please email me back.

Saying that the thin sheet of wood does NOT look like cedar seems a bit suspect... The bands are darker these days and I wouldn't worrytoo much about that... I think your bands are OK.... Do you have a factory and date stamped on the bottom of the box??
