Aged Montecristos

I have been having the greatest time going back and forth to my humidor the last few weeks and smoking some of the cigars that I’ve been holding on to for the last few years. I’ve been going through a bit of a run on the Montecristo No 4′s that have been aging and I can’t begin to describe how great they taste after they age and improve… The strong dark chocolate flavors are all still there but seem to have a bit less of an edge than the younger ones I have.. ( I have to be careful not to mix them up).. My Edmundos are coming along nicely and prove to be a “hit” with my occasional cigar smoking buddies that show up… I guess the only thing I have a difficult time with holding on to are the Montecristo No 2′s… They usually taste great out of the box and, yes, aging them only helps with the taste but my problem is keeping them around for any length of time.
