Montecristo Cigars

      OK, so the Montecristo A is definitely NOT a Canadian cigar but since we’re known for saying “Eh” at the end of each sentence up here in the “Great White North”, I thought I’d start off this segment with that little lame attempt at humor.  OK, the Monte also has nothing to do with this regal Egyptian king and queen but I love how cigars look in photographs, especially when the cigar has nothing to do with the content of the photograph.. It only seems to have a bizarre look about it and like a magpie, I seem to be drawn to bright colors……..This cigar was a gift this evening, given to me by a very good friend who I fish with now and then and who bought a house next door to ours.. When will I smoke it?? I don’t really know…. Another bit of a mystery here is that he has no idea how old this cigar is…. He believes that it has had at least 10 years or more in the humidor so rather than reaching for my torch and lighting it right now, I’m thinking that maybe this little gem ( or not so little ) should be smoked on a special occasion…… Decisions decisions………
