Montecristo Cigars

So I finally got my hands on one of these monster-sized cigars, known as the Montecristo A in the Cuban cigar world. I didn’t know this (shame on me) but the Montecristo A is considered a classic Cuban cigar and can be found in many famous humidors. Did you know that this cigar was also featured in the Guinness Book of World Records? Yes pretty impressive eh!

So before I got to this supersized Cuban cigar, one of my more experienced Cuban cigar smoking friends mentioned that I should enjoy it with my favorite drink. If you’ve been following me on this montecristo blog, you know my favorite drink is of course - Good Ol Scotch!

When I try a Cuban cigar for the first time, I like to smoke it by myself so I can give you guys a real review instead of getting carried away in some drunken conversation with my friends. Let’s just put it this way, overall this is a great cigar. A little lighter in taste than I expected but I think they kept it that way because of the length of the cigar. Do I recommend the Montecristo A cigar? You bet I do!
