Montecristo Cigars

           My name is Dennis and I’ve been asked to devote some time to this blog.After trying as many Cuban cigars as I could afford in the last few years I’ve found that Montecristo delivers to it’s devotees the kind of quality and consistency that other brands out of Cuba can only dream about.  Why, you may ask, is the No 2 one of the top sellers world wide and how is it that they’ve accomplished such a status with cigar smokers who continue filling their humidors year in and year out with these torpedoes?I don’t know…………..Wait a minute, I think I may have one of the reasons why!  I believe that it is the passion that the smoker feels whenever he or she holds one of these gems.  People, whether they are in a crowd or alone with a good book are able to feel a sense of comfort and warmth when smoking a Monte not unlike being with a loved one, a close friend or a beloved family pet.  We are nowadays hearing the term comfort food which can take you back perhaps to your childhood when your parents sat you down at the dinner table and served up something warm and delicious.  It could have been a very happy time in your youth when you felt loved and secure.  Its possible as an adult to transport yourself back in time to that same dinner table whenever we think about that food, smell that same food or eat it.  The olfactory nerve registers smells and sends impulses from the nose to the brain and these sensations are very powerful so why then can’t we have the same physical sensation when we hold and smoke cigar that we regard as a good friend?  Thing is, I think we can.  Montecristo smokers are passionate and very devoted and for a very good reason!!!!!CONSISTENCY !!!!Please feel free to tell us what it is that draws you to this Legendary Cuban brand.
