Montecristo Grand Edmundo

This post is probably going to be one of the shorter publications in this site. This year some time which is undisclosed for the time being, we should see a new cigar from Montecristo. This time we’ll probably be seeing an El in a robusto extra format. The new Montecristo Grand Edmundo will probably have all leaves that have aged for 2 years and will come out with a 52 ring gauge and a length of 5. 7/8 inches. …. If this tastes anything like a larger Edmundo then we are in for a treat. I have to say that I’m a fan of the larger ring gauge cigars since I think they are a little easier to smoke because of the smoothness and round full flavors. .. ….. I don’t think we’ll be waiting too long…. I’m guess the moment they are ready to be sold, they’ll taste great!!!

I picked up a box of these for a client this last weekend and had the chance to light one up with him. I would say it’s an incredibly smooth cigar. Aside from the darker outer leaf, it looks exactly like a Siglo 6. Only with a more mellow taste. This is a great smoke…
I can’t wait to try one… Thanks for the comment..
